A throw-back for our first release of 2012– Shoestring’s Seven Year’s Split

We have just compiled a limited edition split CD of the first two albums Shoestring had published in 2005.  Shoestring Studios humbly took shape in 2005 with borrowed gear and floorspace to independently produce and distribute the works of Toronto based folk-ramblers J Stevens and AJ mAJik Fletcher. With a budget made from busking change we published two debut albums- Shadow Puppets by The Falling Trees and Folk I Don’t Know by J Stevens- in a very no frills manner of CDr’s and hand-drawn, paper covers.

Seven years on, We’re happy to be re-releasing these gems as a limited split to celebrate
the continued efforts and achievements of  Shoestring and our artists.
