As a co-founder of Shoestring Studios, mAJik released his first recordings with “The Falling Trees” in 2005 with support and distribution efforts of the infant production company. With the experimental sounds of a full band, and the poetic lunacy of mAJIk’s adventure stories, “Shadow Puppets” was a growing success for the artist and lead to many more performances and recordings though not under the Shoestring banner.
Since then mAJik has also produced many solo projects which have as yet been un-published. These recordings include: “Story Of A Colourblind Painter”, “The China Sessions”, “After Sun Explodes”
Though it would take years for a solo project to emerge publicly; 2009′s “I’m not crazy, you are.” was well received and showcased mAJik’s songwriting skills and distinct instrumental work.
mAJik is currently writing and playing in the Toronto based CORPORACIDE.
