Canadian singer/songwriter J Stevens has just released a collection of his favorites; “My Best Yet” — The Montreal based artist is currently recording a new full length album anticipated this summer, to be released by Shoestring Studios. We’ve re-mastered some of J’s most memorable tracks and uncovered unreleased demos and live recordings to compile a retrospective of the artists growth in sound and song. “My Best Yet” is available now on iTunes as well as through SHOESTRINGSTUDIOS.ORG where songs can be sampled.

J Stevens will be performing a couple numbers at the Burritoville Open Stage tonight.
There’s always a great collection of song writers and musicians sharing their songs Monday nights.
It all begins at 8:30 PM, upstairs at 2055 Bishop Street, near metro Guy-Concordia.

Old-Time Country
TONIGHT both Clairelynow and J. Stevens will be preforming at The Wheel Club’s Old-Time Country Night.
Every Monday starting at 9PM a great group of players backs an open stage with the only requisite being: ‘country’ songs written before 65′.
Perhaps Clairely will sing us a Patsy Cline tune.
Maybe J will reach way back and mix it up a little.
Anything could happen, it’s gonna be fun!
